Summary
Time to “put the hammer down”?
Our region is set for some seismic disruption in the coming 18 months, with every sector reacting differently under varying external pressures. Across Europe accumulated and unspent funds are flying into digital and business transformation at scale, with technical roadmaps seemingly torn up in place of ambitious sprints to new operating models with technology stacks to match.
In the Nordic territory many larger businesses have recently tended to iterate change with a more traditional “business case to ROI” stepped process, which may need to be reviewed given the pressures brought about so many huge life-changing events. Technology leaders are being asked to play a part in strategy for the new operating model as well as delivering much of the change, with the associated expectations and opportunities this presents.
The AWS & Intel Exec Leaders forums now operate across Europe, and the intention of our groups is to bring peers together in a private and Chatham House environment to discuss subjects that truly impact upon the success of our businesses.
This autumn we want to bring you together for the first time to begin this conversation in these historic times.
Our first Nordic Exec Leaders event discussed the pace of transformation, the drivers and blockers that stand in your way. Our place is to facilitate and learn - yours is to come and both share with and learn from your peers in a safe place.
- The transformation timeframe - How much of it is truly within our own control?
- The traditional "business case" - is there an alternative that accelerates the process?
- How can technology leaders impact the business transformation strategy effectively over the next cycle?
