The Stack Challenge

Summary
Is the new tech Stack right for you?
As a whole new wave of technology arrives, promising great integration, best of breed SaaS and much improved business agility, we ask ourselves - is the new Stack worthwhile?
Equally, for many merchants there is value in the current stack that has yet to be extracted. Everyone has a secret widget that has a huge contribution to conversion, but there is a component of everyone’s eComm tech that is overpriced and yet to really deliver.
We all know the pain of a re-platform project, long months of testing, uncomfortable conversations and possibly some loss in functionality at launch. And yet - the new API-first stack promises agility, low-cost development, an easier time changing our components, all very attractive!
Do you want that? Can you avoid it? Is it coming anyway? On March 22nd we gathered to debate this thorny question in a Chatham House environment.
- The cost & benefits of a composable stack
- The secret widgets that truly drive revenue
- Sweating what you have - how much value is untapped?
